A year of bad behaviour with loved and Ulrich Tukur & Die Rhythmus Boys.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of German dance band Ulrich Tukur & Die Rhythmus Boys, the design agency loved partnered with the Trocadero record label to create a limited-edition 2016 calendar. Its motto: “Through the year 2016 with the superstars of bad behaviour.”
Proud owners get a special bonus of five extra weeks, as the calendar starts on 27 November 2015 – the kickoff date for the worldwide anniversary tour, Let’s Misbehave!.
Each page features a handmade illustration reflecting a dubious quote from the infamous band’s discography, with the full lyrics of the song printed on the back. Displayed on the wall, this jewel treats fans to fresh nuggets of audacity week after week.
The exquisitely crafted calendar was produced in a limited edition of 1,000 hand-numbered copies. The first 500 were signed by the artists and made available exclusively through the Hamburg bookstore Felix Jud, with the remaining copies available to order from www.trocadero-home.com.
loved, the thjnk agency group’s design subsidiary, came up with the idea and the design. Sabine Cole was responsible for concept design and content. Imke Jurok along with graphic artists Kim Arendt and Dominique Brodel handled the creative direction and illustrations. On the client side, label boss and A&R man, Rüdiger Ladwig, headed up the project. The vast majority of the photos used in the illustrations were taken by Katharina John.
