thjnk and Die Limo present commercials with Joko and Klaas.
Eckes-Granini and the Munich branch of the thjnk agency group have found two brand-new brand ambassadors for Die Limo: Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, two German TV stars who don’t take themselves too seriously.
In four films, Joko and Klaas are placed in an overstaged, idealised advertising world where they present Die Limo from granini.
“With this campaign, we’re starting a new, light-hearted chapter in Die Limo communications – with two spokesmen who fit the brand like a glove,” says Francisca Maass, Managing Director of thjnk münchen.
Joko and Klaas’s capacity for self-deprecation also comes to light in the viral campaign that preceded the current TV commercials. On 29 May 2015, the first commercial aired with Joko and Klaas promoting Die Limo in an obvious rip-off of an existing TV commercial. On 1 June 2015, the duo officially apologised for their actions in a press conference. Now – over a week later – the “real” commercials with Joko and Klaas for Die Limo from granini are airing.
The first of four TV commercials will be broadcast on major TV channels and online starting on 9 June 2015. The rest of the commercials are to follow starting in late June. Soup handled the film production. Edward Berger directed.
