thjnk expands presence in Munich

Leo’s thjnk tank (LTT), the joint venture between thjnk and Leo Burnett, has been going strong in Munich since January.

Armin Jochum, Co-founder and CCO of thjnk ag, has brought two top-tier pros from within the ranks into LTT and expanded the agency group’s radius with an office in Bavaria: thjnk münchen.

Creative Directors Max Biedermann and Alexander Muesgens will be supporting Armin Jochum in future in his creative responsibility for Leo’s thjnk tank in the Bavarian capital.

This high-calibre creative duo has the home advantage in Munich: in addition to McDonald’s, they will again meet up with their long-time client Paulaner. Max and Alex have been with thjnk for over seven years and became partners in the agency group in December 2014. Their most recent clients include Commerzbank and IKEA.

Setting up thjnk’s Munich office – with initial clients Die Limo (Eckes-Granini), Haribo and Paulaner – is the task of Francisca Maass, who steps into her new position as Managing Director. She has been with thjnk since March 2013, following stints with Springer & Jacoby, Serviceplan and Jung von Matt, where she worked on accounts including MercedesBenz, Sixt, Bitburger, Unicef, ARD, NIVEA and TUI.

“I’m really looking forward to generating creative momentum also from Munich, and doing it with not one, but two agencies – thjnk Munich and Leo’s thjnk tank,” Armin Jochum said.
