thjnk wins the day in the pitch for SPIEGEL.
The Hamburg branch of the thjnk agency group prevailed in the high-calibre, multi-phase pitch for Germany’s major news magazine.
DER SPIEGEL is politically and economically independent, beholden to no one other than itself and its readership, and has no affiliations with any political party or business group.
The cooperation is geared to further honing the profile of the SPIEGEL media brand.
Timed to coincide with the switch of publication day from Monday to Saturday starting on 10 January 2015, DER SPIEGEL and thjnk will be launching a nationwide brand campaign in Germany.
“What convinced us was the way the task was approached and how well the SPIEGEL and SPIEGEL Online brands were understood. We are looking forward to working with thjnk,” says Anja zum Hingst, Head of Communications and Advertising at SPIEGEL publishers.
Armin Jochum, Chief Creative Officer of thjnk ag: “DER SPIEGEL is more than a brand. It has a lasting impact on our political culture – and that’s something communications should by all means bring across.”
