thjnk's credo is: A single thought has the power to change everything. The agency group has reflected on itself and is creating new structures - and perspectives.
In 2022, thjnk announces the most successful new business year since the founding of thjnk AG (2012). In 2023, the creative agency's new management team, led by CEO Armin Jochum and CFO Horst Wagner, succeeded in consistently expanding the course set with significant successes in new and existing client business (Deka, SWISS, enercity, Škoda). With a conversion rate of 70% of successful pitches, thjnk has proven to be one of the most relevant agencies in the German market in terms of strategy, creativity and content.
Many well-known works for existing clients have been honoured with national and international awards, which has currently earned thjnk a top 3 position in Horizont's Triple A creative ranking.
However, thjnk is not resting on its laurels!
The agency group is reorganising its management to continue to meet the ever-increasing and changing demands of clients in an even more digital future and the triumphant advance of artificial intelligence. In addition, the two strong brands thjnk and loved will work together in an operational unit. Armin Jochum, Co-Founder, CEO & CCO thinks: "We have outstanding people in our group. It is time to set the course for the future - also in terms of organisation and leadership. For an outstanding product with even more strategic excellence and creative power".
Horst Wagner, COO & CFO of thjnk: "We are becoming leaner, more scalable and focusing on collaborative teams. We are creating synergies instead of silos for the best possible quality promise - for the best thjnk group ever".
The new responsibilities and changes at thjnk are as follows:
Hans-Peter Sporer and Stefan Schulte (Managing Directors Creation thjnk Munich and Berlin) will continue to drive the creative product and creative culture of the thjnk Group alongside Armin Jochum as Chief Creative Officers.
In addition to her duties as CEO of thjnk Zurich, Andrea Bison will become Chief Growth Officer, contributing her talent in client development to the thjnk Group.
Hendrik Heine (Managing Director Consulting thjnk Berlin) will act as Chief Client Officer of the thjnk Group in addition to his current responsibilities.
With Larissa Seibert (formerly Accenture, International Client Lead on Lufthansa and New Business), the Hamburg office has gained an excellent Managing Director who will lead the Hamburg office together with Lin Lehn. Together with Ann-Katrin Rose and Anna-Maria Wegner as Managing Directors of the Düsseldorf office and Head of Strategy Gordon Nemitz, the new agency management team is now complete.
As part of this reorganisation, Gerrit Zinke, Creative Managing Director of the Hamburg office for many years, has decided to take on new professional challenges.
Gerrit Zinke: "Thjnk was a great task from the very beginning. Accompanying and shaping the development of the Hamburg location over the past few years has been incredibly fulfilling." Gerrit Zinke is now looking forward to a new chapter in his career.
Armin Jochum: "We would like to thank Gerrit for his outstanding commitment and his constant contribution to the success of our Hamburg location. And we wish him all the best for his next step."
Brand development and digital belong together - which is why less administration at loved and Upljft means more room for creativity:
The two companies will merge into ONE loved in the first quarter of the new year. As a result, the loved brand will be loaded with digital expertise. Mieke Haase as Chief Creative Officer, Dirk Kedrowitsch as Chief Growth Officer, Michael Jacobs as Chief Client Officer and Vincent Hartig as Head of Digital for the entire group and Chief Strategy Officer will lead the more than 100 employees into the future.
In addition to her duties as popular CCO, German AI pioneer Mieke Haase is working with CGO Andrea Bison on a platform that makes this complex topic accessible to the entire agency group and all employees: thjnk Rain - the intelligent answer to artificial intelligence. "An important signal in terms of democratisation and creative leadership," says Group CEO Armin Jochum.
