thjnk AND OGILVY LAUNCH A UNIQUE PARTNERSHIP ON EQUAL FOOTING. A SIGNIFICANT STEP IN THE GERMAN AGENCY MARKET

The agency group thjnk, one of Germany's leading creative agencies known for its impactful communication, is entering into a partnership with the Ogilvy Group Germany.

This step enables thjnk to complement its successful national approach with the international services of the world’s leading creative network, which operates 120 offices across 90 markets.

This "partnership on equal footing" brings together two of Germany's top creative agencies and strengthens Ogilvy’s presence in the German market. thjnk will become part of Ogilvy’s global network while continuing to operate as an independent brand. This alliance allows the agency group thjnk to exclusively access the numerous markets and opportunities within the global Ogilvy network, creating a completely new offering for Germany, the largest advertising market in Europe.


The success of this partnership between Ogilvy Germany and thjnk will be overseen by Armin Jochum (Co-Founder, CEO, and CCO of thjnk) as Executive Chairman, alongside Chris Jungjohann (CEO of Ogilvy Germany) as CEO. Both will report directly to Patou Nuytemans, CEO of Ogilvy EMEA.


Additionally, Horst Wagner, COO of the thjnk agency group, has been appointed to oversee the operational development of the partnership. Helmut Hechler, currently CFO of Ogilvy, will be responsible for coordinating the financial departments.


The existing management teams of both agency brands will remain in place.
